By building, hosting, and managing private online liquidation auction marketplaces, B-Stock Solutions enables its clients to open their liquidation inventory to a much larger base of resellers, while also creating new buying opportunities for companies that previously could not access this type of inventory directly from the source. Our team has already helped retailers auction off approximately $1 Billion worth of overstock and excess inventory.

4. What is a resale certificate and why do I need one?
Also known as a reseller’s certificate, a resale license, or a reseller’s license, a resale certificate allows you to buy liquidation and overstock inventory without paying tax to the retailer or manufacturer. It is proof that you are buying the liquidation and overstock inventory for resale purposes. It is your responsibility to collect the applicable state tax from your customers when they order products from you. A Resale Certificate is required by the retailer or manufacturer for approval to bid in their marketplace. If you already have a state registered sales tax id, or reseller id, you can issue a reseller’s certificate by completing and submitting a uniform reseller certificate form. Visit this link to download a blank uniform certificate form for your state, or to review further information regarding your state’s reseller certificate requirements. You are not required to submit a resale certificate if your business is registered in a state that does not charge a sales tax.

5. Do all states require a resale certificate?
Not every state requires one. The five exceptions include Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon. If your business is registered in one of these five states, register
as a new customer on our liquidation auction marketplace, and our team will approve you.

6. How does shipping work?
The buyer will be contacted with instructions for pickup from a Sam's Club representative. Buyers are responsible for arranging pickup from one of their premises.

All inventory products must be removed within three business days of the completed purchase.
